Plan on getting a MM rotation guide video on either Monday or Tuesday. I want to practice it a little more and discuss with some other Hunters to give you guys the full scoop.
In the mean time I am trying to push my DK and Paladin teams to 1900 rating...Also my guild has decided to drop Monday night raiding =/ after a majority vote...We are currently 2/13 HM and behind our schedule of 5/13 HM...Kinda sketched about the whole situation, but 3 nights a week raiding 4 hours a night gets frustrating, so Ill just let the GM do his thing.
With Cata now over 2 months old...what are you guys currently doing in game? Please leave a comment and let me know!

Level 85 Hunter PvE Guide.
Here is the first video on Hunter Rotation.Enjoy!
Hunter Rotation with LnL Procs
HM
SS and BA
PoP CD's
ES
CS to maintain focus
LnL Proc
ES, CS, ES, AS, ES
Do not ever use Kill Command.
Arcane Shot only if you have excess focus.
After Mastering the Rotation...
So know that you know how to play your Hunter, your probably going to want to play him well. You can click over to the right to see my gear on Torgovrin, and check out my stats. Below Ill tell you what gems and enchants you want, and also your stat weights. I will also post a SV Hunter build that I use to crank out the best numbers possible.
The build you want is 0/9/32 if you need a reference please feel free to look up my hunter. You also want 961 hit rating, (841 if your Drenai Heroic Presence). Flask you want Flask of the Winds and for food you want Skewered Eel.
Gems
Yellow Slot = Deadly Ember Topaz
Red Slot = Delicate Inferno Ruby
Blue = Glinting Demonseye
Enchants
Head = Arcanum of Ramkahen
Shoulders = Greater Inscription of Shattered Crystal
Chest = Enchant Chest -Peerless Stats
Wrist = Draconic Embossment - Agility
Weapon = Enchant 2H Weapon - Mighty Agility
Ranged Weapon = Gnomish X-Ray Scope
Gloves = Enchant Gloves - Haste
Legs = Dragonbone Leg Reinforcements
Feet = Enchant Boots - Major Agility
Pets
I am currently using a cat, this is not optimal. While cat does the most DPS its buff is the same as Horn of Winter so this is wasted. Your best bet will probably be a Ravager (Which I also have) or a Wind Serpent. Talk it over with your raid leader and discuss what pet you should bring.
Cat = Roar of Courage
Wolf = Ferious Howl
Ravager = Ravage
Wind Serpent = Lightning Breath

Class Balance
Im just going to put up a forum discussion that I put up over at MMO-Champion.
The post is still fresh, and the moderator has to check it out first. Hopefully I get a good discussion going.
So I am not here to QQ about my classes or any classes to be honest, I am just here to make a few simple points and have it discussed by you guys. I am not posting this thread in hopes that I will get trolled or flamed or any of that nonsense. All I want is a mature discussion about certain class abilities or lack there of in comparison to other class abilities. Its all about Balance, its the reason we play pvp, its the reason raiding dps charts are so close (maybe not for DK's =) jk, but the game needs to be balanced or else people will not enjoy it, or just roll one class, or w.e.
Lets start with the Holy Paladin. OK so all I hear all day is Holy Pallies are OP, Holy Pallies are facerollers, You want a 2k team roll a Holy Pally. All of these statements are false, and just trolls in /2. Lets look at Holly Pallies being OP. in raid healing I think they are very strong healers indeed, its what they do, they should be good at it. That brings me to another point, Holy Pallies are healers, that is it. You get barely any offense with Holly Pallies besides Exorcism, which if your doing arena you probably did not spec into anyways. So lets look at them compared to other healers. They have no Hots, No Travel Form, No Purges, No Totems, No Hex, No Mana Burns, No Dots... Should we take these away from other classes? Hell no. Its what makes them their class, what I would like to see, is turn down pally healing, and give them more abilities. Maybe move repentance into the Holy Tree? I just think what makes better players is having options...feel free to discuss.
Next the Hunters....Ah yes the Hunters, public enemy number 1. The first person to blame on a fail group or raid or bg or quest or daily or trade or.... you get my point. Hunters get a lot of flack. I recently had someone tell me that hunters are the class that nubs play, they are the class that requires no skill, they are the lowest skill class in all of MMOs everywhere! That might have been an exaggeration but you get my point, Hunters are hated, idk why, idk how to fix it. I would how ever like to discuss the class that needs some balancing. First lets look at hunter PvE, 99% of Cata fights require movement, If you have played a hunter then you know that when you move you stop casting auto shot. Let me repeat this, when you move you stop one of your top dps moves. How was this over looked, all this time. I really do not know, last I checked warriors could auto attack and move, rogues could auto attack and move. Sure you say well mages cant cast and move, well like I said Auto shot is one of our top dps moves, because of this all our other moves are scaled accordingly. Moving on...to Healing....If you did not realize yet. Hunters are the only class in the game of World of Warcraft that can not self heal....lets stop and think about this for a second. Yes it is the truth. Some say "QQ more huntard your a dps class" says the warlock with Drain Life, Soul Harvest, and his delicious cookies. Do I think we should take these abilities away from other classes..NO. Should we give hunters divine light? NO. What they should do is have something to heal....Maybe a channeled heal that cost 1 focus per 1% of life, that doesn't break like bandages, but is interrupt able... idk. This discussion is about class balance not QQ.
Feral druids....I really don't know who thinks this class is balanced but lets discuss. First I want to start off with saying yes I know druids are a hybrid class, I know that, we all do. I love feral druids in my raids, or any druid for that matter, having the back up and plan B for tanking, healing or BRez is always nice. But sometimes I feel that this "shifting" is a little to convient. Some people might say "Its what they do" no....They do damage, they tank, or they heal...just like the rest of us. What makes them different, is they can change "what they do" on the fly, with out any consequence. I truthfully don't think this is balanced at all. Not QQ here just discussion. Lets look at Feral druids, awesome DPS, Stealth, Pounce, interrupts, CC, Bleeds, Stun and Bear Form. Now Resto..Hots, CC, Travel Form, Bear Form, Stealth. Now Moonkins...Silence, awesome dps, Root, Dots, Travel form, Bear Form. So Ferals can do damage, restos can heal, moonkins can damage. Great so what. Well thats basically what a nonskilled player sees. What a pro sees is the ability to do what ever is needed at the time its needed. Need to get away and heal? Travel form and hot. Taking to much damage? Bear form and Hot. DK death gripped you? Travel form and Hot. When I see the word OP I see Over Powered...Not Over Powered Spell, or Over Powered Ability. Its just plain old Over Powered. This might mean the class has to many options, or what seem to be to many in comparison to other classes.
I am not saying that we need a Nerf or a Buff here, just a simple observation of all the classes in general. Take all the classes separate ever ability in to Stun, Ranged DPS, Ranged Cast DPS, Ranged Channeled DPS, Melee DPS, Melee Cast DPS, Interrupt, HOT, Heal, Cast Heal, Channeled Heal, DOT, Silence, Dispel, Offensive dispel, Buffs... And I think you would be surprised at what you find. Class balance is what makes the game enjoyable, its the reason no one class is at the top of the charts for weeks and weeks, its the reason we can PvP. I am not here to QQ I am just here to put out some information, and opinions and discuss it amoungst peers. Please feel free to discuss, but please not flaming or trolling, mature discussion only.

RIFT!
The hype is growing as the new highly anticipated shiny MMO Rift inches closer to its North American release date of March 1st 2011. If you have not heard of Rift because you either live under a rock or you just are not into the MMO genre, you need to check this game out. I have seen the commercials and even the guild chat is buzzing about it. Will this new game on the block stop me from raiding Cataclysm Hardmodes?! Probably not. But I will definitely check it out... here is some info.
The visuals look awesome, and it plays alot like most MMO's. If you play WoW then you should have no problem stepping into Telara, but you might need to buy a new video card... but that's probably long over due. Lets start with what makes Rift different from lets say WoW. First like I mentioned the graphics are far beyond WoW, to me its a mix of Elder scrolls and Guild Wars, all effects seem very fluid, and over all the game looks awesome.
The actual Rifts....So while your questing and doing the usual leveling grind most of us are familiar with...Rifts happen. A Rift is like a random spawn of TONS of NPC bad guys that are just going to kill anything around you! This kind of random stuff is what WoW has needed for a long time. It makes the game feel less staged and more organic. It also adds a level of excitement that boring fetch quests lack to provide. You also gain XP and a form of currency for doing these rifts. I hope that this mechanic is well tuned and polished for release because after all, it is what the game is named after...
The big thing that separates Rift is its character customization. Basically there are four classes to choose from you have the Warrior, Cleric, Mage, and Rogue each with 6 talent trees (with roots) that you can customize yourself. This means if you want to change up your character to your play style you can, this is awesome, I know I am making a warrior that can stealth, heal, cast cc and maybe throw fireballs? Lol. Rift seems ambitious which I like, but I hope they know how to swim in the deep end...
Keep an eye out for Rift coming March 1st, and in the mean time check out this video from BFF over at ZAM.com.

Arms Warrior
So my DK is level 85 and just waiting on Epic 2h which will be arriving on Tuesday, now that hes out of the way. I have moved on to yet another character, my good old warrior. This was my first toon on this server but he always seems to be lagging behind the others. I truthfully do not know why, Arms dps is really competitive in pvp right now, and the mobility is great! Now I say all these things with the hopes that I get better at using them...it seems I have become pretty rusty at my warrior, but after a few youtube videos I feel good about it. I qued up for a few bg's and some went very smoothly and I got fairly up there on the charts, never top tho. My rotation is charge, rend, CS, MS. I use OP and HS when ever possible...seems to work fairly well. I just have to work on my stance dancing and keeping my CDs down. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions. I am going to try and put up a video of my progression so far, and be sure to keep an eye on the live stream.

One step closer to Northrend...
So its the day after Thanksgiving and the house is a complete disaster, I just woke up, my dog is starving, I am starving, and my girlfriend is at work...Ha. so after some much needed chores I plan to hit up Palavrin, I plan on getting him to 68 today/tonight or at least close to, also another milestone will be hit because I only need 200 more HK for the 5k achievement. So ill get those to little bits out of the way and then its on to Northrend tomorrow through Sunday...Like I said in a previous post I am trying to get to 80 by Monday (for no real reason), and I am hoping that this recent patch will help me. Basically blizzard lowered the amount of XP you need to get to 80 from 71 by 20%, that is HUGE! So hopefully this will put my leveling in to cruise control this weekend.
On a side note, my troll druid still has not been touched since creation... I told you I hate leveling well, its true. My friend on the other hand who made one that day is level 19 and climbing, but he has no heirloom items so I hope to catch up with him in no time. (when I get around to it).
Comments! I want comments! Tell me about what character your playing right now! Is it an Alt or your Main? Do you even play alts?

Getting Closer.
So the race change is complete...Palavrin is now a Tauren and god it is sweet. The Pally mount for Tauren is most definetly the most bad ass kodo in the game. If you have not seen it, which I am sure most of you have, /who tauren paladin and check it out. I dinged 64 today and still grinding to get to 80 by Monday. With the holiday tomorrow I hope to put in some serious man hours Friday, Saturday morning, and all day Sunday. That only leaves me 3 days for 16 levels... I am hoping that the nerfing of levels 71-80 really pays off...

About the Author
So...Like I said the Servers are still down atm and I just can't get the blog off my mind. In my first post I kind of explained WoW as a whole and why it is my game of choice, I would like to get into my current state in the game...
All my characters are on the Demon Soul server, why? I honestly do not remember. It is a small server with a guild that is ranked 300 something in the world, and many other guilds that range from the decent to the god awful and even the strange. I am an Officer in the guild <Arete> we are a decent guild ranked number 9 or so on the server, with our fair share of good players. I was the GM (guild master) of <Infamous> but decided I was not one for politics, and the recruitment on a small server is very difficult.
So on to the characters, my main is Torgovrin the Orc Hunter. He was not my first character or my last but for some reason he stuck with me. He is in full Sanctified gear, and is my core raiding character. My alts include a wide range of characters only a few are worth mentioning. My main alt is Dasanavrin the DK he is fairly geared and my go-to for alt raiding. Now on to my new favorite, Palavrin the Paladin. He is currently only level 61 and is completely PvP geared, and Holy specced. I made this character exclusively for PvP and Holy is my spec of choice, some say its OP I say its awesome. It is getting a buff this patch and I am stoked to level him. He only has 2.5 days /played which is awesome for his level, leveling him has been a breeze in battlegrounds. A win gives about 1/3 of a level in a BG holiday weekend. I hope to have him at 80 by the end of the week, and start spending all the honor I will have accrued.
So those are my characters and that is my guild. We are 12/12 ICC and 9/12 Hard Modes, and working on the Professor though may players a choosing to take a break before Cata drops. So that's my characters in a nutshell I will keep you guys posted on any changes...
